Safe Sleep
- Families and/or caregiver* due to financial constraints who cannot provide a safe place for an infant to sleep. There are no current income guidelines.
- Johnson County residents or clients receiving services at WIC or the Johnson County Health Department.

- Must receive safe sleep information and education.
- If pregnant, must be in their third trimester and if carrying multiple’s, show proof.
- If a family expresses a need to have two pack and plays, ie; two infants in household under 30lbs, or one for home and one for caregiver, the following inquiries will be assessed.
*Involvement of caregiver (Pack and plays are portable, so if a significant barrier of transporting item presents itself and infant is being watched by a caregiver at least three days or more, a second will be considered). Approval from Safe Sleep Coordinators needed for more than one pack & play per household.
